Central Plains

The last couple days I was in America's heartland...Fort Leavenworth Kansas. The long empty fields all harvested and in their mode for a winter's sleep to rejuvinate for the next growing season gave me a chance to reflect on how lucky I am to live the life I do. I was listening to get this...country music on the car raido...not like there was much choice, when I realized how simple life is in the rural communities. The music, the way of life, the simplicity of life. It made me think of the North Country and how life is so similar. I so treasure that life, the peaceful rhythm that is so enticing. I look so forward to those days.
